These are great capabilities, but given the price, I don't think asking for a modern, complete app is unreasonable.

Likewise, on Apple devices, you must either use the same specific ID each time you load the app or use the remote connection option to locate the controller to have any functionality at all. Also, if you have a segented network (different wifi 'SSID' names for your smart home devices vs your computers/phones/tablets), you must connect the the same specific SSID as the ScreenLogic controller. Configuration can only be updated via a PC or Apple device. It was last updated in 2018 and is woefully out of date. Bad news: The Android app includes only a few of the features included in the ads and the manual. Just remember to include surge protection any time you have wires entering your home. Good news: I connected my interface directly (wired to the panel, wired to the network) and have experienced none of the stability issues reported by folks using the wireless interface. The interface kit and its associated app meet my needs, but don't really live up to the Pentair name.
